Vipassana Meditation Courses

Vipassana means to see things as they really are. In a 10 day course students first train their faculty of concentration and awareness and then apply these while observing the reality of their own body and mind. By this practice insight and equanimity slowly develops, whereas negative traits like e.g. tension, anger, craving, fear and impatience gradually fade away. Thus the mind naturally becomes more balanced and generous, and tolerance and compassion evolve.

A Vipassana Course offers the opportunity to learn this invaluable art of living, which proves to be very helpful in daily life.

10 day courses are offered on a monthly basis in the Vipassana Meditation Centre in Triebel, Germany. They are conducted by Assistant Teachers appointed by S.N. Goenka from the Vipassana International Academy in Igatpuri, India. The courses, lodging and meals are free of cost. All expenses are covered by donations only. These donations are given by participants who have completed a course and who wish to enable others to benefit in the same way as they did by the practice of this technique.
